Wedding Cake - Torta all' Americana

Non c'e' dubbio, le torte all'americana sono senz'altro spettacolari e di sicuro impatto per l'album fotografico. Ma anche io, come molte amiche mi sono trovata di fronte alla scelta tra l'estetica il gusto (non importa quanto bravo il pasticcere le torte all'americana sono sempre troppo zuccherose e stucchevoli).

Una soluzione per mantenere l'effetto d'impatto e salvaguardare il gusto e' quello di creare una torta "finta" per le fotografie ed una che ne riprenda il tema e i colori ma che sia di gusto piu' "tradizionale".

Ovviamente avrete bisogno di un pasticcere artista. Se vi sposate con la Maan Servizi chiedete a loro hanno un pasticcere bravissimo!

No doubt, Anglosaxon inspired cakes are spectacular and of sure photographic impact. However the Italian taste buds dont appreciate them too much. Therefore I found myself in front of the hard choice between aesthetics and taste.
My solution is to create a fake wow wedding cake for the picture and then serve another one (more in line with Italian guests taste) which will be in line with the theme and colour of the other one.
If your catering is Maan Servizi, ask them their cake chef is a real artist!

Famoso ed alla moda fra nobili e borghesi d’Inghilterra d'altri tempi, tutt’oggi è il drink piu' associato al torneo di tennis di Wimbledon o ai match di polo, della serie “piace alla gente che piace”.

Famous and fashionable amongst the English nobles of the past, still today is the drink we automatically associate with Wimbledon and Polo Matches.

Questo è il classico Pimm’s ma ne esistono molte varianti (visitate il loro sito). E’ un cocktail che può sembrare snob, ma di grande effetto, fresco, moderatamente alcolico, molto profumato, perfetto per l'aperitivo. Inoltre ci si può divertire con la frutta fresca per le decorazioni

The Calssic recipe:
Traditional Pimms No.1
Take one slice of orange, lemon, apple, cucumber
per person and one sprig of mint 
Add to two parts lemonade to one part Pimms.
